Jess Gordon - new designer @ Sunshine Studio

"Let us remember that the Christmas heart is a giving heart, a wide open heart that thinks of others first. The birth of the baby Jesus stands as the most significant event in all history, because it has meant the pouring into a sick world the healing medicine of love which has transformed all manner of hearts for almost two thousand years... Underneath all the bulging bundles is this beating Christmas heart." -- George Matthew Adams

These words inspired Jess who made this wonderful Christmas kit for us.
There is the heart, the tree, angel and Christmas carol sheets to create the most wonderful layouts of our Christmas photos and memories.

My little Princess

Most of my layouts are about my granddaughter Ina and this one is no exception....LOL
Half of the journaling is in Swedish - it is a poem about a princess.
Translation goes like this:
I know a little princess.
She has no crown of gold.
There is no prince who fight
the dragons for her sake.

My little wonderful cutie pie.
You have filled my heart with love and joy.
Could not imagine how infinitely much a grandchild means.
I may enjoy your soft arms, the kisses you "blow" and your laughter.
I love the time we get to spend together.
You are so precious, my little Ina

More stunning kits @ Sunshine Studio Scraps

1. Amanda Kay - Autumn Breeze

Here we have a stunningly rich kit, both in colors and elements - there are 14 Textured/Patterned Papers and over 60 elements.
I am not a fall person at all, but with this kit i could scrap both fall nature photos and photos that need bright colors but in a moderate way. There is also those darker papers that will give you the "mystical" look as well as for a more "deep" style. And the elements - well, what can I say - those leaves and flowers are just gorgeous!!!!

What the Beach Test Says About You

-You like people, but you're careful about who you get close to. Friendship is important to you... so important that you aren't just friends with anyone.
-You have cold feet when it comes to love. You have a lot of uncertainty until you convince yourself to dive right in.
-You are deeply passionate about several things in your life. You're not passionate about much... and the few passions you have are truly obsessions.
-Your sense of humor is sarcastic, snarky, and realistic. You're not exactly happy-go-lucky.

Template challenge at Weeds & Wildflowers

Entered a template challenge at W&W and used only products by W&W.
Had to by those cute buttons; there are 122 of them in many colors.
Here is my LO:

Journaling says:
I got this picture as an email from one of my co-workers attached with a note:
"Now I understand why it took the whole day yesterday."
And I was laughing to tears.
Why you may ask. I tell you!!
The day before we had been counting the stamps
(has to be done every month)
When I finished counting I attached a paper on the drawer with a statement:
"Counted 29.4; if you take, leave a note."
Ok, the next morning someone had thrown that paper in the bin.
Someone had also emptied a parcel with these styrox pieces.
And well, it seems like I had been counting those styrox pieces!!!
LOL. I just LOVE my co-workers!!

Princess Carola.....LOL

Well, I know I am a BAD blogger, but THIS BAD!!!!!!
Not a word or a layout in almost 4 monts!!!!
Anyway....here is a layout I did some time ago when Mabelle asked us to make a LO about us selves and what we liked to play with as kids. I loved the water and I spent all my summers on an island at the ocean. Still (nearly 50 years later) my favorite place in the world is our cottage place in Tammisaari at the ocean. This summer will be the first for my grandchild Ina to play in the water and relax in the sun. I hope she will grow up enjoying, respecting and appreciating the ocean.

My favourite color - BLUE

I stumbled upon a site with a fabulous competition at mgl scraps.
You just have to subscribe to her blogfeed and leave a comment letting her know that you subscribed, tell her what your favourite colour is and how it inspires you to scrap.
10 people will win the "Dreams in Colour" Kit of their choice.
One lucky person will win the entire Dreams in Colour collection.
Today is the last day and I just noticed this.....so I had to run and sign up and now Im posting this probably too late for anyone else....LOL

Those kits are just FULL of beautiful colors and I'm drooling over those in blue and white!!!
Here was my choice of color and why:

"I subscribed!!!
My fav color is BLUE.
I dont wear blue clothes neither do I have many furnitures or things in blue. But I love the blue ocean, blue flowers, the sky and when I see a blue layout I always stop and look at it more than any other LO in other colors. I also prefer to use blue papers added with elements in silver or white. I think it has something to do with me being Finnish.....lol.
Lately I have being fascinated of pink - Im a grandma to a 8 month old adorable baby girl - Ina."
Now I have to go and put a link to your blog.....tihi
